No Credit Needed

Bad credit or low credit scores won't stop you from achieving your dream of homeownership. While we do conduct background screenings, our approval process focuses primarily on your current financial stability rather than past credit mistakes. We evaluate your household income, debt-to-income ratio, and rental/mortgage payment history to determine qualification. This means you can start building equity in your future home while simultaneously improving your credit profile. 

We Will Work With You

At Moors United Realty Group, we believe in flexibility and understanding that every family's financial situation is unique. We offer customizable payment plans for your purchase option fee, allowing you to pay a portion upfront and spread the remainder over time, or arrange full payment over time. We also provide incentives for on-time payments that reduce your monthly rent and contribute additional credits toward your down payment. Our goal is to set you up for success, not create additional financial stress. 

In-House Financing Available

Skip the bank entirely. We provide complete in-house financing, acting as your lender throughout the entire process. After your lease period (typically 1-2 years), you'll transition directly to mortgage payments with us at competitive fixed rates for 15-30 year terms. No need to qualify for external financing or worry about changing interest rates. We handle everything internally to make your path to homeownership as smooth as possible.

Is the purchase option fee refundable?

No, the purchase option fee is non-refundable. It provides security for potential property damage and legal costs, and only becomes a down payment credit after you successfully exercise your option to purchase without violating the lease agreement.

How long before I can purchase the home?

The lease period is typically 1-2 years, depending on your credit profile and screening results. This gives you time to demonstrate consistent payment history while building toward full ownership.

Can I make changes or upgrades to the home?

Yes! You can upgrade the home with improvements like paint, flooring, pools, porches, or lighting. Approval is needed during the lease period, and all work must be done by licensed contractors after the lease period. All upgrades remain with the property.

How do I get started?
